Bhuvan Bam is an Indian comedian, actor, writer, singer, songwriter and a YouTuber who is known for his You Tube channel BB ki Vines. There, he shares his comedy skits and songs. He has a second channel called BB Ki Vines Productions and together the two channels command a subscriber base of around 27 million. He has acted in the short film Plus Minus and in several series like Dhindora, Bachelors, Taaza Khabar and Rafta Rafta. He is also a singer and has released several singles on his You Tube channel.
Early Life
Bhuvan Bam attended Green Fields School in Delhi. He later went to Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University and obtained his BA degree in history from there.
Rise to Fame
Bhuvan Bam began his career in 2012 as a performer in a Delhi restaurant. He created his You Tube channel BB ki Vines in 2015 and started sharing vines, a collection of short funny videos. These 2-12 minutes videos, portraying the life of an urban teenager and his conversations with his family and friends, gained immense popularity. He played all the characters himself. In 2018, he launched his You Tube comedy talk show Titu Talks in which he played his famous character Titu Mama.
In 2021, he created, wrote, produced and starred in the hugely successful You Tube comedy drama series Dhindora. For this series, in which he played various characters, he also turned singer for songs like Didi Song, Saazish and Ban Gayi Zindagi. He also composed the music of Saazish and wrote the lyrics for the title song sung by Kailash Kher. The series won him the 2021 ‘ITA Special Award’ (Viewer Mention), 2022 ‘Hitlist OTT Special Award’ (Best Online Sensation) and 2022 ‘IWN Digital Jury Award’ (Breakthrough Performance of the Year).
In January 2023, he produced and starred in Disney+ Hotstar’s six-episode fantasy comedy thriller miniseries Taaza Khabar. The series was his OTT debut and he played the lead role of Vasant ‘Vasya’ Gawade in it. It won him the 2023 ‘IWM Digital Award’ for Most Popular Actor in a Web Series (Drama). In the same month he produced and starred in the role of Karan Malhotra in Amazon miniTV’s seven episodes series Rafta Rafta.
Earlier in 2016-2017, he appeared in the first season of TVF's web series Bachelors. In 2018, he played the role of Baba Harbhajan Singh in the short film ‘Plus Minus’.
Bhuvan Bam has released multiple singles. These include Teri Meri Kahaani, (2016), Sang Hoon Tere, Safar, Rahguzar (all 2018), Bas Mein, Ajnabee (both 2019), Hum Saath Hain, Heer Ranjha (2020), Duniya, Rang (both 2022) and Jawani Munda (2023).
Other awards that he has received include ‘Bollywood Life Awards’ (2020 OG YouTube Star and 2023 Original YouTube Star) and ‘YouTube Creator Awards’ (2016 Gold Creator and 2018 Diamond Creator). In February 2020, he featured in the list of Forbes 30 Under 30 in the category of ‘Digital Content Creators’.

Bhuvan Bam’s full name is Bhuvan Avnindra Shankar Bam and he was born to Avnindra and Padma Bam.
